1) Must have at least one (1) half-marathon (21K) or longer distance race (road or trail) within one (1) year before the race day. The result must be verifiable thru the internet.
2) Must be eighteen (18) years old and above. If under the age of 18, a written letter of consent from the parent or legal guardian is required.
3) Must be physically fit and in good health.
The following mandatory equipment must be carried at all times during the race. Random spot checks may be performed at any time, and time penalties or disqualification imposed for non-compliance depending on severity. Mandatory equipment will be checked during the distribution of race kits.

2. Race Bib - Must be clearly visible in front
3. Hydration System - 1 Liter minimum capacity
4. Water Reserve - 1 Liter minimum
5. Food Reserve - Personal nutrition, sufficient for the distance between Aid Stations.
6. Trail Running Shoes - Sandals/slippers and road shoes are not permitted for safety reasons.
7. Whistle - For calling attention
8. Basic First-Aid Kit - For treating minor wounds and injuries

- Participants are advised to attend the race briefing.
- All participants must claim their race kit personally. Bring valid identification and proof of registration.
- Complete mandatory equipment will be checked.
RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT
1. Hydration Salt / Electrolytes - To stop dehydration and prevent cramps. Should be taken as prescribed.
2. Energy Gels - There will be food and drinks at the aid stations. However, you may bring your personal preferred nutrition.
3. Petroleum Jelly / Anti-chafing cream - To protect against chafing & blistering
4. Sunscreen - Protection against the sun. Apply before and during the race.
5. Sunglasses - Protection against UV rays
6. Hat / Scarf - Protection against the sun, rain & cold at night
7. Wind Breaker - Protection against the wind. Should not replace the mandatory rain jacket.
8. Long-sleeved shirt / Arm Sleeves - Protection against the sun
9. Calf Compression/Sleeves - Can be used as protection from sharp grasses and insects.
10. Trekking Poles - Highly recommended! Especially useful for balancing on steep climbs.
11. Compass - May aid in checking navigation or if lost
12. Course Map - To aid in following the course
13. Running Gaiters - To keep “stuff” out of your shoes, and they provide protection from scrapes and abrasions caused by trail debris, branches, or rocks.
14. Cash - You may also purchase food and drinks from local stores.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
1. Set up a tent (bring your own tent) and camp on the grounds of Puray Elementary School. But please make sure to break camp by 1AM on March 26, 2023, before the race briefing. Comfort Rooms are available at the school and the Barangay Hall. There are lots of food stalls also available in the vicinity. Mind your own belongings and please respect other runners who are resting. The lights off are at 9PM.
GENERAL RACE RULES & REGULATION
2. You must stay on the marked course at all times. The course will be clearly marked using marking tapes and signs and there will be race marshals stationed at critical points along the course. If you get lost return to the last sighted marking or checkpoint. Short-cutting is not permitted. Violation means outright disqualification from the race.
3. Race bib must be worn and clearly visible at all times.
4. A participant must be self-contained/equipped with the complete mandatory equipment. Otherwise, he/she will not be allowed to run. Mandatory equipment will be checked upon claiming race kits. The random check may also be conducted along the course or at any of the aid stations. Failure to present any of the mandatory equipment is a ground for disqualification. A 30-minute grace period will be given to produce the missing item before allowing the participant to continue with the race.
5. It is a requirement that all runners carry a mobile phone throughout the race. Make sure your phone is fully charged before the race. Please be aware that reception is intermittent or none at all in some parts of the course.
6. Pacers are not allowed.
7. There will be no cups, bowls & spoons available at the aid stations. Please bring your own cup as part of your mandatory equipment.
8. Participants will need to carry adequate nutrition supplies between aid stations.
9. There are long sections where runners will need to be self-sufficient between aid stations. This will mean runners will require to carry at least 500 ml. upon leaving the aid stations.
10. No support crews are allowed outside the Aid Stations.
11. The use of trekking poles is allowed and highly recommended in all categories.
12. Littering is strictly prohibited. There will be garbage bags located at the aid stations. Violation of this rule will mean outright disqualification.
13. Picking or damaging plants, animals, fungi, and rocks found along the racecourse are prohibited.
14. Please be careful not to damage properties located along the racecourse.
15. The course will pass through residential areas. Please do not make loud noises or sounds when passing through these areas.
16. All participants must be self-contained and must carry the mandatory equipment at all times during the event. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to run.
17. There will be a mandatory equipment check upon claiming of race kit to ensure you have all the mandatory gear but it is your own responsibility to decide whether your clothing/gear provides adequate protection for possible wet weather running.
18. There will be a medical team on standby at every aid station, approach the staff if you need medical assistance. However, a basic first-aid kit for treating minor wounds and injuries is part of the mandatory equipment.
19. Anyone caught tampering with the course markings (e.g., vandalizing & maliciously re-positioning trail signs) or other actions that are deemed against fair and sporting spirit is unacceptable and will result in automatic disqualification with a lifetime ban from participating in our future events.
20. If you can no longer continue with the race, you must notify the race organizer with a text message as soon as possible, or proceed to the nearest aid station and inform the race staff there. Save the following emergency contact numbers on your phone: +63 918-919-1416. Please DO NOT simply exit the race and go home without telling anyone about it.
21. If you dropped out of the race, you will have to pay for your own transportation going back to the finish line.
22. You are responsible for checking the official updates provided by the race organizer on the race website or on Facebook. Please follow the instructions provided.
23. The Race Director reserves the right to adjust the start time, and modify the course, rules, and regulations under some circumstances for the safety of all runners.
24. Written Protest should be made within 1 hour after the cut-off time in case there’s a complaint against cheating or violation of rules. A protest fee of 500PHP will be collected to process the complaint.
25. The Race Director’s decision is final and non-appealable.
