Soroptimist International of the Philippines Region (A Foundation), Inc as it near its six decades of selfless commitment and service to the upliftment of women and girls will be hosting its first-ever fun run on March 2, 2025, at the Filinvest, Clark, Pampanga dubbed as SOROPTIMIST HALF MARATHON : Takbo Para Sa Kababaihan, Takbo Para sa Kalikasan. 

This event is more than just a run . It is an opportunity to support our Access To Education (A.T.E.) scholars and Soroptimist GO GREEN beneficiaries.

Runners can choose from 1KM (Fun Walk), 3KM,5KM, 10KM and 21KM. Mark your calendars for March 2, 2025, and head to Clark Pampanga and don’t miss your chance to be part of this exciting event and significant cause.

About Access To Education

Access to Education or A.T.E. is an identifying project that aims to align with the mission, vision, and goals of Soroptimist in improving the lives of women and girls, particularly through education. This will enable them to become socially and economically empowered, thus, assuring them and their families of a better future. The project includes providing ATE Scholarship Grant, Adopt-A-Scholar or providing monthly to support daily school needs, Working Scholar, Educational Booster like computers and laptops, and Special focus classes.

About Soroptimist Go Green, Empowering Women, Protecting the Earth

The Soroptimist Go Green Campaign is a dynamic initiative of the SIA Philippines Region Governor for Biennium 2024-2026. It aims to help achieve two (2) Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations for which the Soroptimist International has a General Consultative Status under the Economic & Social Council, SDG#5 - Gender Equality (Achieve gender equality and empower women and girls) and SDG#13 – Climate Action (Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts)

 At its core, the campaign focuses on empowering women & girls to become change agents in environmental sustainability, through education, training and advocacy. This empowerment aims to provide them with knowledge and skills to tackle climate change while also improving their socioeconomic status.
