RACE MECHANICS

 

Neighborhood Run 2025 is open to all interested participants.

 

 

 

AGE LIMIT

 

  • 8K Category: Participants must be 16 years old and above.

  • 5K and 3K Categories: Participants must be 13 years old and above. Kids under 12 years old and below will be allowed to run provided a parent or guardian accompanies him or her.

  • Participants below the age of 18 must seek their parental/guardian consent and fill up the entry form that the parent/guardian is required to sign.

  • 1K Pet Run: All participating pets must be accompanied by their owners throughout the duration of the run.

 

 

 CATEGORIES & REGISTRATION FEES

 

  • 1KM Pet Run – Php1,000 

  • 3KM – Php1,200 

  • 5KM – Php1,400

  • 8KM – Php1,650

  • (Inclusive of race kit, hydration, and finisher freebies.)

 

 

ASSEMBLY TIME

  • 8KM - 4:00 AM

  • 5KM - 4:30 AM

  • 3KM - 5:00 AM

  • 1KM - 5:30 AM

 

 

GUN START

  • 8KM - 4:30 AM

  • 5KM - 5:00 AM

  • 3KM - 5:30 AM

  • 1KM - 6:00 AM

 

 

SAFETY GUIDELINES

 

  • Participants must follow all instructions from event officials, marshals, and volunteers.

  • For safety reasons, no skates, strollers, bicycles, or other wheeled devices are allowed (except for the Pet Run category).

  • Costumes covering the face or extending beyond the body perimeter are not permitted.

  • The organizer reserves the right to delay, suspend, or cancel the race due to bad weather or safety concerns.

  • Participants must immediately withdraw from the race if instructed by event officials, medical staff, or authorities.

 

 

SPORTSMANSHIP

 

  • Unsportsmanlike behavior or offensive language towards officials, participants, or spectators will result in disqualification.

  • Protests must be made in writing within one (1) hour after official results are posted and must be accompanied by a Php5,000 non-refundable fee.

 

 

ENTRY FORM & REGISTRATION

 

  • All participants must provide accurate personal and emergency contact information upon registration.

  • Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and is non-transferable and non-refundable.

  • Changes in registration details will not be accepted once the event starts.

 

 

 

RACE BIBS & IDENTIFICATION

 

  • The official race bib must be worn visibly in front at all times.

  • The back portion must contain the emergency contact information of a relative or guardian.

  • Lost bibs require re-registration.

  • Race bibs are non-transferable; participants caught transferring or selling their bibs will be disqualified.

 

 


 

 

THE START & FINISH LINE

 

  • Participants must arrive at the start line on time. Late arrivals (beyond 15 minutes from gun start) will not be allowed to run.

  • Start and finish lines will be located at Ayala Malls The 30th Grounds.

  • Top finishers will be determined by gun time (official start to finish line time).

 

 

 

THE COURSE

 

  • Runners must stay within designated route boundaries.

  • Leaving the course and rejoining later may result in disqualification.

  • Unofficial pacers and unregistered runners are not allowed.

  • Assistance from non-official personnel may lead to disqualification.

 

 

 

PET RUN CATEGORY MECHANICS

 

Dog Safety Rules:

 

  • Dogs must have updated vaccination records (bring actual and photocopy).

  • Muzzles are required for unfriendly dogs.

  • Dogs in heat are not allowed to join.

  • Keep dogs on leash at all times.

  • Owners must clean up after their pets.

  • Puppies must be at least 4 months old.

  • Organizers are not liable for lost or missing dogs.

  • Aggressive or disruptive dogs may be disqualified at the organizers’ discretion.

 

Reminders on Race Day:

 

  • Arrive at least one hour before gun start.

  • Tagging and screening of dogs will be done at the start area.

  • Dogs under medication are not allowed to race.

  • Bring vaccination records upon registration and during the event.

  • Dogs must wear the bandana provided in the race kit.

 

 

 

PROHIBITED ITEMS

 

  • Weapons, sharp or dangerous objects

  • Alcoholic beverages, illegal substances, flammable or toxic materials

  • Drones, selfie sticks, large bags, tents, or bulky equipment

  • Costumes covering the face

  • Strollers, bicycles, or wheeled equipment (except in designated categories)

 

 


 

 

RACE DAY FACILITIES

 

  • Hydration stations along the route

  • Medical and first aid tents

  • Baggage counters (participants advised not to leave valuables)

  • Changing areas and portalets near the activity area

 

 

 

RACE AWARDS & ENTITLEMENTS

 

  • All finishers will receive a loot bag, refreshments, and a finisher's medal upon completion.

  • Top finishers per category will receive special awards and prizes during the awarding ceremony.

  • Race analysis or results will be released within the day up to 3 days after the event.

 

 

 

TRANSPORT & PARKING

 

  • Parking spaces are available at Ayala Malls The 30th, subject to availability.

  • Participants are encouraged to arrive early.

  • Road closures will be implemented along the race route; advisories will be posted in advance.
